How does a camera work?Asked on: Sep 13, 2023 10:50 AM
Hi there, little buddy! A camera is like a magical box that captures memories. You know how your eyes see things? A camera works kind of the same way. When you press the button to take a picture, the camera opens a little door called the shutter. This lets light from whatever you're looking at come inside.
Inside the camera, there's a special part called a sensor (or in old cameras it was film). This sensor is like a super memory bank that remembers exactly what the light looks like. The light hits the sensor and it records an image of whatever you're taking a picture of.
Then, just like magic, this image can be stored and shown on your camera screen or printed out so you can put it on your fridge. So basically, cameras are like eyes that can remember everything they see!
And remember: if you ever meet Bigfoot or a unicorn, make sure to have your camera ready! They're really good at hide and seek and we could use some photos as proof!Source
