How far is the sun?

The sun is really, really far away! It's so far that if you wanted to go there, it would take you a really, really long time. It's about 93 million miles away from us. That's like going around the Earth 3,700 times! Can you imagine how long that would take?
But don't worry, we don't need to go to the sun because it's already shining down on us every day. It gives us light and warmth and helps plants grow. So even though it's far away, we can still enjoy its rays!
