How to cook pasta?
Asked on: Sep 13, 2023 04:43 PMWell, little buddy, cooking pasta is as easy as ABC! First off, you need a big pot of water - about as big as your teddy bear's tummy! Fill it up and bring it to a boil. That means lots and lots of bubbles!
Once the water is boiling (be careful, it's hot!), add some salt. It should taste like the sea. Not that you've tasted the sea before... or have you? Anyway, then comes the fun part: throw in your pasta! But don't literally throw it; we don't want pasta flying around the kitchen like little rockets!
Let it cook for about 8-10 minutes. You can check if it's ready by taking out one piece and tasting it (but let it cool first!). It should be 'al dente' - that's Italian for 'to the tooth', which means a bit firm when bitten.
Finally, drain the water carefully (you might need an adult to help with this). And voila! Your pasta is ready to be dressed up with your favourite sauce. Just like how you dress up your teddy bear in its favourite clothes!
