In what order should I watch the star wars movies?
Asked on: Sep 13, 2023 05:17 PMOh, the Star Wars saga! It's like a big space puzzle, isn't it? Let's see if we can sort it out together. Now, there are two main ways to watch Star Wars: release order and chronological order. The release order is the way the movies were originally shown in theaters, starting with Episode IV: A New Hope. This is the way people first fell in love with Star Wars.
The release order goes like this: IV (A New Hope), V (The Empire Strikes Back), VI (Return of the Jedi), I (The Phantom Menace), II (Attack of the Clones), III (Revenge of the Sith), VII (The Force Awakens), VIII (The Last Jedi) and IX (The Rise of Skywalker). Don't forget about Rogue One and Solo, they're like extra snacks during your movie marathon!
But if you want to see things from start to finish according to the Star Wars timeline, then you should go for chronological order. This means you start with Episode I: The Phantom Menace and go straight through to Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker. So it's I, II, III, Solo, Rogue One, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII and IX.
Remember though that watching Star Wars is like eating ice cream - there's no wrong way to do it! Just grab your lightsaber...I mean remote control...and may the force be with you!
