Medusa is a character from ancient Greek mythology. She was a monster with snakes for hair and if you looked at her, you would turn into stone! Yikes! She was really scary and people were afraid of her. But did you know that Medusa wasn't always a monster? In fact, she used to be a beautiful woman with lovely hair. But one day, she made the goddess Athena angry, and as punishment, Athena turned her into Medusa with snake hair.
