What are wormholes?

Well, little buddy, imagine you're playing with two pieces of paper. Now, normally to get from one piece to the other, you'd have to walk or crawl right? But what if you could magically poke a hole through both pieces and step right through? That's kinda like a wormhole! It's like a shortcut through space that might let us get from one place to another super-duper fast. Some people even think we could use them to time travel! But remember, this is all just make-believe for now. We haven't found any real wormholes yet. It's like finding a unicorn in your backyard - very cool but not very likely.

And don't forget, if you find a wormhole in your garden, it's probably made by worms, not space aliens. So no need to pack your space suit just yet!
