What is "the force"?

"The Force" is a term from the Star Wars movies. Imagine if you could move things with your mind, or feel what's happening far away, like when your mom is baking cookies and you can almost smell them from your room! Well, in Star Wars, there are people who can do these things and more, thanks to "The Force". It's like an invisible power or energy that connects everything in the universe.
The Force can be used for good or bad. The good guys, called Jedi, use it to protect people and keep peace in the galaxy. The bad guys, called Sith, use it for selfish reasons to control others and gain power. So remember kiddo, if you ever discover you have 'The Force', use it like a Jedi! May the force (and cookies) be with you!
But remember this is all pretend - part of the fun story in Star Wars. In real life we don't have "The Force", but we do have our brains and bodies which are pretty amazing too!
