Well, if we're talking about the smallest particle, that would be the subatomic particles. In our everyday life, we deal with things like atoms and molecules, which are tiny enough on their own. But did you know that these atoms and molecules are made up of even tinier particles? These little guys are called subatomic particles, and they include protons, neutrons, and electrons.
But wait, there's more! Scientists discovered that protons and neutrons are made up of even smaller particles called quarks. Quarks are currently the smallest known particles. There are six types of quarks: up, down, charm, strange, top, and bottom. Up and down quarks make up protons and neutrons.
To give you a picture of how small a quark is: if an atom was the size of the Earth, a quark would be about as small as a house! Now that's really tiny!
